Royal Nickel Corporation is a mineral resource company focused primarily on the exploration, development, evaluation and acquisition of base metal and platinum group metal properties.
RNC’s principal asset is the 100% owned Dumont Nickel Project, a mammoth nickel deposit with an measured & indicated resource of 7 billion pounds of nickel. The Dumont Nickel Project is strategically located in the established Abitibi mining camp, 25 kilometres northwest of Amos, Quebec. One of the world’s best mining jurisdictions in a region where all required infrastructure is already in place.
The Preliminary Economic Assessment completed in 2010 would generate an after-tax NPV8% of over $1 billion over a 25 year mine life producing an average 140 million pounds of nickel per year making the project potentially the 4th largest nickel sulphide operation in the world. The Pre-feasibility study results are expected by Q4 2011 with production expected to begin in late 2015.
Royal Nickel Corporation has a strong Management Team and Board with over 100 years of mining experience in the nickel business largely from Inco and Falconbridge. The Corporation’s common shares and warrants trade on the TSX under the symbols RNX and RNX.WT.
